Program rotations are designed to provide advanced training in the equine internal medicine rotation. During this rotation, residents interact with Board certified specialists in surgery, dermatology, cardiology, neurology, radiology, anesthesiology, clinical pathology, anatomic pathology, critical care and ophthalmology. The opportunity to spend time in other rotations exists. All residents participate in the equine emergency service, under the supervision of the equine emergency clinician. Both non?emergency and emergency cases allow the resident to develop competence in equine internal medicine through the management of a diverse range of cases. Case management is carried out under the supervision of senior clinicians.
