What Happens to Tom and Emma Next?

You need to perform a physical exam on Emma. Your first step is to collect Emma’s history from her owner, Tom. That means getting basic information about Emma such as her age, whether she is spayed and any health issues she has had in the past. Emma is spayed and is up to date on her vaccines. She is not taking any medications, including heartworm preventative, and is otherwise healthy. Next, you should perform the standard components of a physical exam (see Case #1 ).
