Total Ear Ablation
Some dogs are not as lucky as Fred and ear cleanings are not enough to help their ear infections. If a dog suffers severe recurrent infections then sometimes we consider a surgical procedure called a total ear ablation . This is where a dog’s ear canal is closed up, preventing further infections.
