On Sunday, November 10, 2013 the university will sponsor the Ohio State Four-Miler race. During the race time, access to the Veterinary Medical Center and College of Veterinary Medicine campus will be disrupted. Clients, faculty, staff and students who require access to the Veterinary Medical Center or college campus will be rerouted to enter the Sisson Parking Lot via Olentangy River Road between Lane Avenue and John Herrick Drive.
The following map shows the race route (red) and the rerouting of traffic (yellow). All lanes of Woody Hayes and John Herrick drive will be closed during the time runners will be passing through this area (proposed time will be 9:30 - 11:30 a.m.). To access the Veterinary Medical Center and college campus during this time, all faculty, staff, students and clients will travel East/West on Lane Avenue to Olentangy River Road. At the intersection of Lane Avenue and Olentangy River Road, traffic will turn south onto Olentangy River Road and travel to the marked area at the Sisson Hall parking lot. Columbus Police officers will be stationed at Lane Avenue and Fyffe Road, Lane Avenue and Olentangy River Road, as well as the Olentangy River Road entrance to the Veterinary Medical Center and college campus to effectively direct traffic.
