experience at high volume spay/neuter clinic in a non-profit humane
society in Tucson, Arizona. Duties include spay/neuter and other soft
tissue surgery such as eye enucleations and limb amputations as need
arises. Student will work under direct supervision with attending HSSA
veterinarian in surgery suite. Opportunity for participating in shelter
rounds and learning about shelter medicine also exists per interest by

expect to achieve up to at least 50 surgeries in two weeks time if
willing and able.

    local referral hospital on a weekly basis as part of their internship
    experience and have received doznes of students, vets, and externs over
    the yeasr seeking hands-on training.

seem to get more benefit out of our hands-on approach and come to us
