Exploration with Scientific Knowledge

Welcome to Veterinary Extension at the College of Veterinary Medicine at The Ohio State University. Veterinary Extension is a unit within the Department of Veterinary Preventive Medicine.  Our mission is to engage people to strengthen their lives and communities through research-based educational programming.

Ohio State University Extension brings the knowledge of the University to your door.  We fulfill the land-grant mission by interpreting knowledge and research developed by OSU as well as other land-grant universities, so that Ohioans can use the scientifically based information to better their lives, businesses, and communities.

Please explore these pages to learn more about our Extension Veterinarians and program areas, as well as continuing education opportunities.

You'll also find Fact Sheets and the Ohio Veterinary Newsletter.
