OTS Veterinary Explorer's Program Accepting Applications

The Veterinary Explorers is a program for Columbus area high school students who are interested in the field of veterinary medicine. Members will meet once a month for hands-on labs and lectures focused on providing students with valuable experiences to guide them in their education. This is a veterinary student-run program affiliated with the Omega Tau Sigma Veterinary Fraternity here in Columbus. Meetings will be held primarily on The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine Campus and students will have the opportunity to learn from Ohio State veterinarians who are the experts in their field of study!

Please fill out the form below if you are a high school student interested in a veterinary career and would like to be contacted for further information about the Vet Explorers Program for the 2017-2018 school year.

Students will attend monthly seminars to learn about the profession.

 *** A mandatory introductory meeting will be held in late September at The Ohio State University, please fill out the form before Monday September 10th to ensure you receive your invitation ***

Omega Tau Sigma Veterinary Explorer's Program

  • Cost:  $40 per student (one-time only fee)
  • Date:  Monthly meetings will typically take place in the evening the last week of the month.  Meetings are generally in the evening.
  • First meeting:  Thursday, September 28 at 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm
