The Council on Education of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA) is the accrediting body for colleges of veterinary medicine.
The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine received full accreditation from the AVMA for a period of seven years in March 2014.
The next site visit of the College by the AVMA Council on Education is expected in Fall of 2020.
The November-December 2019 and April 2020 ultimate pass rate for students of our College on the North American Veterinary Licensing Examination (NAVLE) was 97% (153/158) as compared to an 80% pass rate required by the AVMA Council on Education's Outcomes Assessment standard.
Additional information about the College's accreditation status can be obtained from the Dean, Dr. Rustin Moore (email@example.com).
