Education and Professional Development Committee

During the SAVMA House of Delegates meeting in the summer of 2010, it was decided that the former Education and Licensure Committee and the Economics, Finance and Management Committee would merge to form the Education and Professional Development Committee. To remain current and provide input on licensing requirements, current economic issues of the veterinary industry, and advances in veterinary education the Committee works closely with the American Association of Veterinary State Boards, the National Commission on Veterinary Economic Issues, and the American Association of Veterinary Medical Colleges. Additionally, the EPDC promotes opportunities for student personal and professional development including essay contests, grants, and survey competitions.
